Denny Hamlin Has One Of Those Days At Daytona
9 months agoDenny Hamlin started eighth, ran well at times, and even led 10 laps at the Daytona 500 on Monday. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver ultimately finished 19th on Monday night. That was ahead of Jimmie Johnson and Tyler Reddick. Hamlin and his No. 11 car never could really stay up front long. Drafting seemed to be a problem for most of the Toyota cars. It seemed Christopher Bell and Bubba Wallace adapted the best and did not get too caught up in the wrecks. Hamlin has never won at the newly repaved Atlanta track, but he did finish sixth there last March.
