4 years agoDenny Hamlin dominated most of the caution-filled race on Sunday. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver led 276 of the 500 laps. It was that 42-lap run at the end which foiled his efforts to win. Ultimately, he could not even hold off Chase Elliott for second place. The result was another third-place finish that left Hamlin a bit frustrated. His car could run great for 20-25 laps but that was it. The final 15 laps of the race saw the No. 11 driver trying to just hold on for position.
