Dennis Smith Jr. Won't Play Against The Wizards
2 years agoCharlotte Hornets guard Dennis Smith Jr. (ankle) won't suit up for Friday's meeting with Washington. With LaMelo Ball (ankle) limited to just three games this season, Smith has started 11 times. Outside of his rough shooting percentages, he's played well, averaging 10.0 points, 6.5 assists, and 1.9 steals. However, without Ball and Smith on the floor, Theo Maledon, who had 11 points, eight assists, and three steals on Monday versus Boston, is expected to remain in the starting lineup. Maledon also had five turnovers and went 4-for-13 from the field, something fantasy managers should consider.
