Dennis Smith Jr. Probable For Friday
8 months agoBrooklyn Nets guard Dennis Smith Jr. (hip) is probable for Friday's game versus the Chicago Bulls. Smith has missed the past two games with his right hip synovitis bothering him. The Nets' backup point guard gets consistent rotation time as a great defender, but he rarely holds fantasy relevance. Dennis Schroder gets most minutes as the starting point guard, and Smith just hopes to fit into the game when healthy. Jacob Gilyard will lose his chance at playing time now that Smith is slated to return. Lonnie Walker IV's diminishing playing time could also benefit Smith by getting more minutes as a reserve guard with his improved health.
