8 months agoBrooklyn Nets guard Dennis Smith Jr. (hip) is listed as doubtful for Saturday's contest against the Detroit Pistons. He will likely miss his third straight game because of a right hip injury. Smith Jr. last appeared on March 31 against the Los Angeles Lakers, but he only took the court for four minutes after appearing to reaggravate his hip. The backup guard will likely not take the court on Saturday, and it is uncertain how soon he can return to action. While sidelined, Lonnie Walker IV could see more playing time to help support starting point guard Dennis Schroder.--Dave Goldsholl - RotoBaller
