Dennis Schroder Gets Close To Triple-Double In Lakers Debut
4 years agoLos Angeles Lakers point guard Dennis Schroder impressed in his first game for the team, finishing a 116-109 loss to the Clippers with 14 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists. It could've easily been an even bigger night for him had his shot fallen, as the 27-year-old German managed to go only 5-for-15 from the field. After spending two years as a sixth man in OKC, Schroder was a starter and ended up logging 28 minutes of action. The team now starts preparing for a Christmas Day matchup against Dallas. It looks to set to be an up-tempo game that should suit Schroder, who averaged 20-7-5 against the Mavs last season.
