Dennis Schroder Gets Starting Nod In Opener
6 years agoOklahoma State Thunder guard Dennis Schroder made the start in Tuesday's 108-100 loss against the Golden State Warriors, stepping in for the injured Russell Westbrook (knee). Schroder, who set the Twittersphere ablaze with his 'interesting' and colorful hair stylings, knocked down seven of his 19 field-goal attempts while finishing with 21 points, nine rebounds, six assists and two steals. He also chipped in with a blocked shot over 34 minutes while banging in a pair of triples. Schroder certainly did his best Westbrook impression, and is a solid short-term fantasy play until the star is healthy enough to return.
