Demetric Felton Jr. Joins Bengals' Practice Squad
1 year agoThe Bengals signed running back Demetric Felton Jr. to the practice squad. The 25-year-old, drafted in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, appeared in 24 games for the Browns. He had just eight carries for 20 yards during his time in Cleveland. However, Felton was slightly more productive as a pass-catcher, amassing 20 receptions for 189 yards and two touchdowns. Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan touted the former UCLA Bruin's skillset. Yet, Callahan indicated Felton would only be utilized as a running back instead of seeing time in the slot, something he did while with the Browns. That said, Felton isn't likely to produce anytime soon, although he's worth monitoring if the Bengals encounter injuries at the position throughout the 2023-24 campaign.
