Demaryius Thomas Scores on Sunday
6 years agoIt wasn't the biggest game for Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas on Sunday, but it was nice to see him find the end zone in Week 1 after averaging just 5.3 touchdowns per season over his last three campaigns. Thomas saw the second most targets on the team (10) in Denver's 27-24 victory over Seattle, bringing in six passes for 63 yards. That, in itself, is encouraging. But more importantly, quarterback Case Keenum threw for 329 yards and is not Brock Osweiler, Trevor Siemian or Paxton Lynch. If you drafted DT after his disappointing 2017 season, this outing should simply add to your confidence in plugging him in as your WR2 moving forward.
