5 days agoDallas Cowboys linebacker DeMarvion Overshown (knee) has been progressing well in his recovery from a significant knee injury, and there is optimism that he could return around the middle of the 2025 season, sources tell FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz. Overshown was having a breakout campaign in 2024 before his knee injury, piling up 84 tackles, five sacks, an interception, a forced fumble, one fumble recovery, eight tackles for loss and a defensive touchdown in the first 13 games (12 starts) of his NFL career. The 24-year-old former third-rounder (90th overall) in 2023 out of Texas had surgery to fix ACL, MCL and PCL tears in his right knee on Dec. 18. The Cowboys will just be hoping that Overshown will be able to show the same type of burst he had as a pass-rusher in his rookie year when he returns from his serious knee injury.
