DeMar DeRozan Drops 50 Points In Overtime Win
3 years agoChicago Bulls forward DeMar DeRozan put on another offensive showcase in the team's 135-130 overtime victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday. He scored a season-high 50 points, just two points shy of his career-high of 52 points, which came back in 2018. DeRozan shot 17-for-26 from the field on Thursday, connecting on both of his attempts from three-point range. He was also 14-for-15 from the free throw strike. In addition to his scoring outburst, he added six assists, five rebounds and one steal while turning the ball over twice. DeRozan is sixth in the NBA in scoring, averaging 28.0 points per game. He's now topped 30 points in three straight outings. He'll look to stay hot in his next trip to the court on Saturday against the Miami Heat.
