Dellin Betances To Miss More Time
6 years agoNew York Yankees relief pitcher Dellin Betances (shoulder) will receive a cortisone shot to help the lingering spur in the back of his right shoulder. He will not throw for three weeks and won't return before six to seven weeks now. That's a pretty big setback for the flamethrowing setup man in the Bronx. The right-hander can have control issues at times, but his dominance on the bump is rarely matched as a reliever around the league. Those in deeper leagues may want to consider stashing him if they have the room. His extended absence will put more pressure on the likes of Adam Ottavino and Zach Britton.
