Delanie Walker Likely Out For Season
6 years agoTennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker suffered a dislocated ankle and associated fracture in Sunday's loss to the Miami Dolphins, according to Ian Rapoport. Walker was having a solid day prior to the injury, with four receptions for 52 yards on seven targets. Walker's absence will be a huge blow to the Titans offense this season. Jonnu Smith, a very athletic second-year prospect, will step in as the team's primary receiving tight end going forward. Smith is worth a prospective add for Walker owners as he is likely to see a similar target share as Walker was projected for in the Titans offense.
