Defending Masters Champion Sergio Garcia Misses Cut
7 years agoA year after capturing his first green jacket and first major, Sergio Garcia had an abysmal showing at this year's Masters. His opening round was low-lighted by a 13 at the par-five 15th hole, where he put five balls in the water. Things didn't get much better on Friday when he posted a six-over par round for a 15-over total. Garcia will next play at the Valero Texas Open in two weeks at the Oaks Course at TPC San Antonio. Garcia assisted Greg Norman in the design of the course, so he could bring a unique perspective when the tour stops here.
