4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel caught just two of his eight targets for 19 yards in Week 5 against the Miami Dolphins. The positive news was that his eight targets were tied for most on the team, along with tight end George Kittle. While it's unfortunate Samuel only came down with two catches, a lot of the fault came from the dismal quarterback play from the team. Jimmy Garoppolo was awful in the game and got benched at half-time for C.J. Beathard. Samuel should be a solid WR3 going forward.
