Deebo Samuel Has Biggest Receiving Game Of Season
2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel caught six of seven targets for 115 yards and a touchdown in the Niners' 24-9 victory over the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football. He displayed his big play ability in the second quarter, taking a short drop off 57 yards for the score. According to Next Gen Stats, Samuel added 51 more yards after the catch than was expected on similar plays. He also carried the ball twice for two yards, his fewest carries and fewest rushing yards in a game all season. It was his second straight game without making a big play out of the backfield, but it was his biggest game of the season in terms of receptions and receiving yardage. One way or another, Samuel gets it done. He finished as the WR4 in standard scoring and the WR6 in PPR.
