Dee Eskridge Returning To Practice
Dee Eskridge (concussion) to return from Injured Reserve this week. Eskridge has been out since suffering a concussion in his first NFL game in Week 1. The Seahawks will still need to activate Eskridge from IR before he can return to game action. It remains to be seen if he'll be active in Week 10 against the Green Bay Packers, and it will likely depend on how he looks in practice this week. The 24-year-old will likely be eased back into the offense when he's ready behind D.K. Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and Freddie Swain, so he's really only an option to be stashed in dynasty/keeper leagues for now. Before getting injured in the season opener, Eskridge had a six-yard catch and two carries for 22 yards.

Dee Eskridge Ruled Out For Week 10
Dee Eskridge (personal) will not travel with the team and has been ruled out for Monday's contest against the Los Angeles Rams. Eskridge did not participate in practice on Thursday due to a personal matter and will now set his sights on returning in Week 11 to face the Las Vegas Raiders. Eskridge has been operating as a depth option in the Miami wide receiver room and caught just one pass over the past two weeks. In addition, Tyreek Hill's (wrist) status is also up in the air for Monday's game. This could potentially leave Jaylen Waddle and Odell Beckham Jr. as the lone wideouts for Miami on Monday.

Seahawks Waive Dee Eskridge, Release PJ Walker
Dee Eskridge and released PJ Walker, linebacker Blake Lynch, cornerback Artie Burns and safety Marquise Blair on Tuesday. Injuries limited Eskridge to 24 games (zero starts) in his three seasons with Seattle after they took him in the second round (56th overall) out of Western Michigan. In those 24 games with the Seahawks, he had just 17 receptions (34 targets) for 122 yards and one touchdown. If the 27-year-old pass-catcher clears waivers, he could rejoin the team on their practice squad. Walker will hit the open market, which isn't surprising after the team added Sam Howell as the backup to starter Geno Smith this offseason. The 29-year-old appeared in six games (two starts) with the Cleveland Browns in 2023 and completed a career-low 48.6% of his passes for 674 yards, one TD and five interceptions.

Dee Eskridge Looks To Make Seahawks Final Roster
Dee Eskridge performed well in the Seahawks' preseason finale against the Cleveland Browns on Saturday. Eskridge finished with three receptions for 19 yards and returned a punt 79 yards for a touchdown. Eskridge is buried on the wide receiver depth chart. His best chance at a roster spot may be as a returner. The former second-round pick has battled injuries and poor play throughout his career. However, his speed and skills as a returner may be an asset to the team.

Dee Eskridge Getting A Shot As Kick Returner
Dee Eskridge will likely get one more season to prove himself in the NFL after being a second-round pick in 2021, and new head coach Mike MacDonald's coaching staff has decided to give him a shot as a kick returner in 2024. In addition to Eskridge, free-agent pickup Laviska Shenault Jr. is also getting reps as a returner in organized team activities. The 27-year-old Eskridge finished off the 2023 campaign on Injured Reserve with a rib injury, but he appears to be fully healthy now and ready to go for the 2024 regular season. He didn't have a single catch while playing in just four games in 2023 and has only 17 receptions on 34 targets for 122 yards and one touchdown in his three years in the NFL. Eskridge remains well off the fantasy radar.
