De'Anthony Melton Draws The Start Against Cavaliers
3 years agoMemphis Grizzlies guard De'Anthony Melton is a member of the starting five for Wednesday's season-opener against Cleveland. He'll be joined in the backcourt by second-year pro Desmond Bane. Melton figures to get plenty of run in the starting lineup with Dillon Brooks (hand) expected to miss the beginning of the season as he recovers from a fractured hand. Melton has averaged 13.3 points, 5.2 assists, 2.3 steals, and 1.8 threes per game per 36 minutes in his career, making him a savvy DFS choice. Bane flashed some three-point shooting ability as a rookie and could also soak up some of the opportunities left behind in the absence of Brooks.
