2 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers guard De'Anthony Melton (back) was a late scratch for Wednesday's clash with Washington and his status for Friday's game versus the Knicks is currently unknown. Melton was ruled out of the game with lower back stiffness. Matisse Thybulle ended up starting in his place but sprained his ankle and wasn't able to finish the game, so this was a bad night for Philadelphia on the injury front. Melton had just found some rhythm and started to produce solid numbers at both ends of the floor. Shake Milton logged a season-high 15 minutes Wednesday and should pick up the slack once again if Melton and Thybulle are unavailable Friday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
