DeAndre Jordan Super Efficient Friday Night
7 years agoLos Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan played well Friday night against the Indiana Pacers. Jordan scored 14 points shooting 6-for-6 from the field and 2-for-2 from the charity stripe. In the outing Friday, Jordan also had 11 boards. Since March second Jordan has averaged 15.7 points and 18.5 rebounds per game. Next up for the Clippers and Jordan is the Toronto Raptors on Sunday. The Raptors will have a combination of centers Jakob Poeltl and Jonas Valanciunas guarding Jordan. The centers ranked 34th and 49th respectively in defensive real plus-minus for their position in the NBA, so Jordan should have another solid outing Sunday.

DeAndre Jordan Returning To Denver
9 months agoDenver Nuggets center DeAndre Jordan is reportedly sticking around with the organization for at least one more season. The veteran big man has reportedly agreed to a one-year, $3.6 million deal for the 2024-2025 season. Jordan should serve as the primary backup center to Nikola Jokic. However, that role usually doesn't come with a ton of playing time as long as Jokic is healthy. Jordan is a solid rebounder but he doesn't offer much fantasy value outside of that.

Nuggets Make DeAndre Jordan's Return Official
2 years agoDenver Nuggets center DeAndre Jordan has officially re-signed with the team for one more year, general manager Calvin Booth announced on Friday. Jordan appeared in only 39 regular-season games last season and saw action for just 13 minutes in total in the playoffs, but the 35-year-old brings great veteran pedigree with him and will be an extra body on the bench again in 2023-24. He averaged 5.1 points and 5.2 rebounds in 15.0 minutes during his 15th NBA season.

DeAndre Jordan Moves Into Starting Five
2 years agoDenver Nuggets center DeAndre Jordan will get the starting nod for Wednesday's game against the New York Knicks. The Nuggets will be without both Aaron Gordon and Nikola Jokic for this game due to health and safety protocols. That being said, the Nuggets have decided to roll with some veterans for this game. Head coach Mike Malone will start Jamal Murray, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Jeff Green, Michael Porter Jr. and Jordan on Wednesday. Also, Zeke Nnaji and Bruce Brown should see extended playing time off the bench.

DeAndre Jordan Starting Again In Game 2
3 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center DeAndre Jordan will start on Wednesday night during the postseason matchup against Miami. Jordan will fill in for Joel Embiid (face) once again for Game 2. However, the veteran logged only 17 minutes in Game 1, finishing with only four points, two boards, and two blocks. Nonetheless, Paul Reed, who had nine boards, four points, one steal, and one block during the series opener, should be the preferred option by DFS managers looking for value, even though he likely won't see a ton of minutes either.
