4 years agoAtlanta Hawks forward De'Andre Hunter (knee) has progressed to weight-bearing, lower-limb strength activities. He is still recovering from a significant knee injury but will be re-evaluated in two weeks. However, the Hawks don't have a timetable for Hunter's return at the moment. Cam Reddish, Danilo Gallinari and Kevin Huerter will be asked to pick up the slack in the meantime. Huerter has the most fantasy value out of the three because of his ability to hit from beyond the arc.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

3 weeks agoCleveland Cavaliers forward De'Andre Hunter (illness) will rejoin the lineup for Friday's tilt against the Memphis Grizzlies. The talented scorer has recently battled an illness but is ready to return to action after sitting out one game. Hunter has averaged 14.3 points and 4.3 rebounds in 24.9 minutes with the Cavaliers since coming over from Atlanta. He may be used more offensively against the Grizzlies, as Donovan Mitchell (groin) will not be available for the contest.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

4 weeks agoCleveland Cavaliers forward De'Andre Hunter (illness) is listed as probable ahead of Friday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Hunter appears to be ready to get back in action following a one-game absence due to an illness. The Cavs are going to be without Donovan Mitchell (groin), so Hunter could be asked to take on a bigger role on Friday. The 27-year-old is worth a look as a streaming option, assuming he's cleared to play on Friday.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

4 weeks agoSam Amico of HoopsWire.com reports that Cleveland Cavaliers forward De'Andre Hunter (illness) won't suit up against the Brooklyn Nets on Monday due to an illness. Hunter will be out of action for the first time since he was traded to the Cavs on February 6th. With Donovan Mitchell (groin) and Ty Jerome (rest) also unavailable, Dean Wade, Sam Merrill and Isaac Okoro will likely see more minutes on the floor for this evening's matchup with the Nets.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller

2 months agoSpencer Davies of SI.com reports that Cleveland Cavaliers forward De'Andre Hunter won't make his Cavs debut on Friday against the Washington Wizards. Cleveland acquired Hunter via trade with the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday, and his next chance to suit up for his new club will be on Monday against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Fantasy managers should know that the 27-year-old could make an immediate impact while playing with a new team, as he posted the best numbers of his career before the trade, averaging 19.0 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 28.8 minutes per game with Atlanta.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller
