DeAndre Hopkins Will Undergo Knee Surgery, Out Six Weeks
3 years agoArizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (knee) will undergo knee surgery and is expected to be out for the next six weeks. He will miss the rest of the regular season, and his recovery will extend into the playoffs. The 29-year-old missed time earlier with a hamstring injury and was limited to 10 games this season. Hopkins finishes 2021 with 42 receptions for 572 yards and eight touchdowns. With four weeks left in the regular season, Hopkins could return in time for the playoffs if the Cardinals advance deep into the postseason. A.J. Green and Christian Kirk will be Cardinals QB Kyler Murray's top wideouts for the remainder of the year and are solid starting options in Week 15 against a Detroit Lions defense that is 30th in pass DVOA this season.
