DeAndre Hopkins A Risky Week 8 Option
1 year agoTennessee Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is coming off his worst game of the season, catching just one pass for 20 yards in the Week 6 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. The Titans were on a bye in Week 7, but that apparently wasn't enough time for Ryan Tannehill (ankle) to be ready to play. Tannehill is expected to be inactive, setting up rookie Will Levis to make his first NFL start against the Atlanta Falcons. In all likelihood, the Titans will try to rely on Derrick Henry and Tyjae Spears to carry their offense. Levis will likely give Hopkins a healthy target share, but the overall volume might not be conducive to fantasy success. To make things trickier, the Falcons have allowed the sixth-fewest fantasy points per game to wideouts this season. Hopkins' fantasy output will depend on Levis' ability to get him the ball, making him a very risky Week 8 fantasy option.
