Dean Burmester A Risky Play At U.S. Open
5 months agoLike most LIV players, Dean Burmester is a tough read thanks to the limited stats available for the Saudi-backed league. The play he demonstrated at The PGA Championship was impressive, as he finished T12 and ranked inside the top 15 for the event in strokes gained around the green (+0.66), on approach (+1.25), and tee to green (+2.34). However, most of his performances on the LIV circuit this season have been mediocre, which doesn't bode well for arguably the toughest test in golf. At $9,100 on FanDuel, it is a pretty penny to spend on a guy with such limited knowledge of where his game stands. Pinehurst will be a much different animal than Valhalla in almost every sense, making Burmester an easy fade this week.
