De'Aaron Fox's Second-Half Fantasy Outlook
7 years agoSacramento Kings guard De'Aaron Fox has had an up-and-down first half of the season. The Kings first-round pick in last year's draft has put up a line of 11.3 points per game and 4.3 assists a night to go along with one steal and a solid 2.4 turnovers a night. Fox started the season in decent fashion but then struggled heavily in November and December (8.1 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists on 39.4 percent from the floor) before turning the corner in the new year (13.8 points, 2.4 rebounds, 5.0 assists on 41.8 percent from the floor). With George Hill now out of town, Fox is the main man at the point guard spot for the Kings moving forward and will get all the minutes he can handle. Fox has shown stretches of brilliance but then at times has really struggled, especially from the field (41 percent from the field and 33 percent from downtown on the year). This is expected from a rookie point guard thrown into a starting role on a shaky team, especially the Sacramento Kings. Keep an eye on this rookie, as he has potential to become a must-own in all leagues before season's end.
