Davis Schneider Sent To Triple-A
1 day agoThe Toronto Blue Jays have optioned infielder/outfielder Davis Schneider to Triple-A Buffalo. Through the first 10 games of the campaign, Schneider has posted an underwhelming .067/.333/.067 slash line with just one hit. Under the hood, he has generated a low .266 xwOBA with a .099 xBA. However, he was able to draw walks at an impressive 23.8 percent rate. Last season, Schneider appeared in a career-high 135 MLB contests with the Blue Jays and posted a .191/.282/.343 line with 13 home runs and six stolen bases. Schneider will likely return to the majors later in the summer, as he has had previous success at the Triple-A level. While he remains in the minor leagues, Alan Roden should continue to see opportunities in left field.
