Davis Mills Fires Touchdown Pass In Backup Duty
3 years agoHouston Texans quarterback Davis Mills completed eight of 18 passes for 102 yards, a touchdown and an interception in Sunday's loss to the Browns. Mills entered the game in relief of an injured Tyrod Taylor (hamstring), firing a fourth-quarter touchdown pass to Brandin Cooks, which was a nice bounce-back after an early interception. The rookie signal-caller would presumably be in line to start with a quick turnaround to Thursday night's game against the Panthers, with head coach David Culley giving him a vote of confidence. If forced into a start, Mills would not be fantasy relevant against an underrated Panthers defense.
