David Robertson Notches Ninth Save Of Season Tuesday
1 year agoNew York Mets relief pitcher David Robertson picked up his ninth save of the season in Tuesday's 2-0 win over the Phillies. The veteran came in to pitch the top of the ninth up by two. He got the first out on a strikeout, allowed a single, and ended the game on a ground-ball double play. Robertson has seen the majority of save opportunities for the Mets this season and has converted all but one of them with a 1.54 ERA and 10.41 K/9 rate. Adam Ottavino has five saves of his own and carries fantasy value, but Robertson is the clear front-runner in the Mets' bullpen for fantasy managers at this time.
