David Price Secures First Save On Saturday
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers pitcher David Price allowed two hits and struck out one in 1/3 inning to earn the save in Saturday's 4-2 win over the San Francisco Giants. He entered the game in the ninth inning to protect a two-run lead. The southpaw allowed two baserunners before striking out Austin Slater to end the game. It was his first save of the season. The 36-year-old owns a 3.42 ERA, 1.48 WHIP, and 28:5 K: BB across 23 2/3 innings. Price has racked up one save and three holds as a low-leverage reliever for the Dodgers and is mainly an option in very deep-league formats.
