David Price Looks Good In No-Decision
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher David Price pitched well in Friday's no-decision versus the Los Angeles Angels. Price went 5 1/3 innings and allowed four hits, two runs, zero walks and struck out four. Both of the runs given up by Price were from solo homers off the bats of Jose Iglesias and Jack Mayfield. Other than the home runs, Price looked really good in the contest and only tossed 62 pitches. Manager Dave Roberts has been pretty consistent about yanking Price before the sixth inning, which is why he has not produced a quality start. Despite that, Price has been performing well for the Dodgers and makes for a good option in mixed leagues. He is now 4-1 with a 3.53 ERA in 29 games (eight starts). His next start will come on Thursday versus the Philadelphia Phillies.
