Boston Red Sox starting pitcher David Price completely dominated the Orioles on Thursday in a 6-2 victory. Price bounced back from a mediocre performance in his last start and puts all the carpal tunnel talk to rest. In nine innings, he was very efficient and didn’t allow a walk and struck out eight batters, all with 95 pitches. The one smudge on Price’s night occurred one out from a complete-game shutout. He sent a 1-2 cutter down the middle that Manny Machado smashed into a billboard in left field. Price raised his record to 4-4 while lowering his ERA to 4.38. He will be in Tampa to take on the Rays for his next start.--Ellis Canady - RotoBaller
