David Price Goes Four Innings In No-Decision
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher David Price tossed a no-decision on Wednesday versus the Philadelphia Phillies. Price went four innings and allowed five hits, two runs, one walk and recorded one strikeout. Price only threw 51 pitches, but manager Dave Roberts continues to have a short leash with the veteran. Price has been pitching well for the Dodgers, but he loses value with his inability to go deep into games. Price is 4-1 with 3.60 ERA and will face the Pittsburgh Pirates in a favorable matchup on Monday. It would be nice to see Price be able to go deeper into ballgames, but he can still be looked at as an option in deeper mixed leagues.
