David Price Fares Well In Return From Injury
6 years agoBoston Red Sox starter David Price went 6 1/3 innings, allowing two runs on two hits in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Houston Astros. Price struck out 10 and walked two in the no-decision. It was an excellent performance from the lefty, as there was a point in the game where he retired 14 straight batters. He showed no ill-effects of the comebacker he took off of his wrist in his previous start. Price has a 14-6 record with a 3.57 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, and 162/43 K/BB ratio on the season. He projects to take on the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday and is a definite must-start for that contest.
