David Pastrnak Records Hat Trick Versus Jets
5 years agoBoston Bruins forward David Pastrnak lit the lamp three times as his team defeated the visiting Winnipeg Jets 5-4 on Thursday night. Pastrnak, the NHL's leading goal scorer with 35 markers, found the back of the net in each period and also posted a plus-two rating, five shots and two hits in 20:34 of ice time in the victory. The 23-year-old just keeps rolling along, managing to take his game to yet another level in 2019-2020. Currently on pace for 64 goals, the Czech native is proving to be one of the game's most prolific scorers - checking in with 65 points, 27 power-play points and 178 shots on goal through 45 games. He's a top offensive threat each night he suits up and will look to score for the fifth consecutive game versus the Islanders on Saturday.

David Pastrnak Available On Friday
3 months agoBoston Bruins right wing David Pastrnak (upper body) will be in the lineup on Friday against Columbus. The star winger suffered an upper-body injury against Washington on Monday, exiting the contest after logging only nine minutes of action, but Pastrnak will not miss additional time. Pastrnak has had a hot month with 13 points. However, it's been a down year for him overall, as the prolific forward has settled for 35 points (12 goals, 23 assists) in 36 appearances. Pastrnak last averaged fewer than a point per game in 2017-18.

David Pastrnak Good To Go Tuesday
3 months agoBoston Bruins right wing David Pastrnak (upper body) will play against Winnipeg on Tuesday. Pastrnak skipped Monday's practice but won't have to sit out his first game of the season. A recent four-game point streak has given Pastrnak's scoring account a good boost, putting him on nine goals and 18 assists with 29 games played. Boston's star forward has yet to reach double figures in goals despite firing off 115 shots on the net. His career average is nearly two times better than his current 7.8 shooting percentage, meaning Pastrnak should start to produce offense at a better rate in the near future.

David Pastrnak Battling An Upper-Body Injury
3 months agoBoston Bruins right wing David Pastrnak (upper body) missed Monday's practice. The star winger is nursing an upper-body injury, but Boston is "hopeful" of having him in the lineup on Tuesday against Winnipeg. Pastrnak hasn't missed any games this season thus far, going for nine goals and 18 assists in 29 outings. He hasn't been at his best, but Pastrnak's recent form deserves highlighting, as the Czech forward has logged five points (one goal, four assists) during a four-game scoring streak. Tyler Johnson will likely enter the lineup on Tuesday if Pastrnak isn't healthy enough to play, with the team needing to find a new top-line winger.

David Pastrnak Ends Power-Play Scoring Drought
10 months agoBoston Bruins right wing David Pastrnak scored a power-play goal in Sunday's 3-2 Game 4 loss to Florida. He opened the scoring in the contest with his fourth postseason goal of the year. The Czech superstar hadn't scored a power-play goal since early March, going 27 games without one. Pastrnak has been a point-per-game player throughout his postseason career in the NHL, but he has been limited to only eight points in 11 games this year. The Bruins badly need to see an improvement from him as the team faces elimination in Game 5 on Tuesday.
