David Njoku Likely Back For Saturday's Game
3 years agoCleveland Browns tight end David Njoku appears to be returned from the COVID-19 list. Njoku tested positive for COVID-19 on Dec. 7 but took to his Instagram page on Wednesday to say, "It's Good to be Back." Njoku would be eligible to come off of the COVID list with two subsequent negative tests, so his return is entirely possible. If Njoku does play on Saturday, he could be in for a large target share with all of the other tight ends, as well as leading receiver Jarvis Landry, all on the COVID list. The Browns would still likely have a run-heavy game plan with backup quarterback Case Keenum in, but Keenum isn't a massive downgrade from Baker Mayfield, so Njoku could be looked at as a TE2 and possible DFS punt play.
