2 years agoChicago Bears running back David Montgomery (ankle, knee) is trending toward playing on Sunday. Dan Graziano of ESPN.com reports that the team is "optimistic" he'll suit up versus the Minnesota Vikings. Even if Montgomery, who is listed as questionable, does play, there is a chance that he sees a reduced workload. Between his lingering injury and the recent success of Khalil Herbert, don't be surprised if the Bears alternate between using both backs. On one hand, their roles are uncertain, but at the same time, Chicago has one of the best rushing attacks in the NFL.
