2 years agoChicago Bears running back David Montgomery carried the ball 15 times for 53 yards and chipped in three receptions for 22 yards, but a second-half fumble derailed the Bears comeback efforts in their loss to the Cowboys in Week 8. The typically sure-handed Montgomery lost the football as the Bears were trying to come back from a 28-7 deficit, and the Cowboys' Micah Parsons scooped it up and took it to the house for a 36-yard defensive score. Montgomery continues to see double-digit touches in an offense that has produced 200-plus rushing yards in each of their last three games, but he is slowly losing snaps to the explosive Khalil Herbert.
