David Montgomery Deemed Day-To-Day
1 year agoUpdating from a previous report, Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery (thigh) is being considered day-to-day after suffering a thigh bruise in the Week 2 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. An earlier report said he could miss a few weeks, so hopefully he's truly day-to-day and won't miss much more than a game. The 26-year-old has rushed 37 times for 141 yards and two touchdowns in his first two games with the organization and should continue to have plenty of fantasy value as the team's early down back -- especially in standard and half-PPR leagues. If he misses any game action, rookie Jahmyr Gibbs should see additional touches.
