The Boston Bruins second power-play unit converted twice in Game 1 on Thursday, due much in part to the play of center David Krejci. Late in the second frame, the Bruins did a great job of holding the zone and finding Krejci down low. Krejci promptly found David Backes through traffic in front of the net, resulting in a Bruins lead held for the balance of the game. The unit found the back of the net again, needing just 11 seconds on the power play midway through the third, as Krejci found a hole from a bad angle. If you’re looking for power-play points, Krejci and this second unit have the confidence and upper hand moving forward in the series.--Kevin Acorn
