David Johnson Trending In The Right Direction Ahead Of Week 3
3 years agoHouston Texans running back David Johnson saw an increase in playing time in Week 2 against the Browns. Despite a tough Week 3 matchup with Carolina, Johnson appears to be trending in the right direction, as he played 43 percent of the snaps- a fairly significant uptick from 28 percent in Week 2- totaling season-highs in both rushing and receiving yards. Unfortunately, the tough matchup against the Panthers, who have allowed the second-fewest fantasy points per game to running backs, as well as the crowded Texans backfield makes Johnson hard to trust for fantasy purposes. Still, he's one to monitor moving forward, as he could have some sneaky PPR value moving forward.
