David Johnson Not Expected To Practice Wednesday
4 years agoHouston Texans running back David Johnson (head) is in the early stages of the concussion protocol and isn't expected to practice on Wednesday. Interim head coach Romeo Crennel said that Johnson is "up in their air" for Week 10 against the Browns, with NFL Network's Ian Rapoport noting that a Wednesday 'DNP' for someone in the protocol isn't a good sign for their availability on Sunday. Fellow halfback Duke Johnson is expected to handle the majority of the backfield opportunities after he received a career-high 20 touches in Week 9. He'll be in the RB2 range against the Browns.
