David Johnson A Fringe RB1 Against Bengals
4 years agoHouston Texans running back David Johnson has a favorable matchup against the Bengals in Week 16. Johnson is coming off of his best game as a Texan, one that saw him turn 19 touches into 133 scrimmage yards, 106 of which were receiving yards. Pass-catching specialist Duke Johnson (neck) was unable to practice Wednesday, meaning his teammate would likely see the brunt of the receiving work yet again in Week 16. David Johnson should be more successful on the ground against Cincinnati's 26th-ranked run defense- that coupled with his work as a receiver makes him a fringe RB1 this week, with added upside if the Texans jump out to a lead.
