Hale tossed 34 pitches and faced left-handed hitter Andrew Benintendi as the tying run in the ninth, indicating that left-hander Zach Britton was likely unavailable, despite having pitched just once since Sunday. Owners certainly shouldn’t rush to gobble up stock in Hale with Aroldis Chapman’s return on the horizon, but it is an indicator that while Britton remains a solid option for those eyeing holds or looking to lower team ERA’s, he may not be 100 percent healthy at the current time.--Jesse Borek
