David Dahl Homers, Becomes All-Star
6 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder David Dahl got the welcome of a lifetime on Sunday when manager Bud Black informed him before the game that he had been nominated to his first All-Star game. Dahl was pumped, and he got all that energy out when he launched a moonshot to right field to temporarily give his team the lead against their division rival. While the Dodgers would come back to win the game, Dahl will still get to enjoy the moment as he represents the NL. Dahl has successfully stayed healthy so far, and he's capitalized on this year's opportunity by hitting 12 home runs, knocking in 51 runners, and scoring 53 runs while hitting .317.
