David Bote Assigned To Minor-League Camp
1 min agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers have assigned infielder David Bote to minor-league camp. Bote was one of their most productive bats during spring training but could not make the Opening Day roster. During the Cactus League, Bote went 12-for-30 with three doubles, two home runs, and a 4:6 BB:K. He tallied nine RBI and scored seven runs. The 31-year-old inked a minor-league deal with the reigning World Champions during the winter. Before joining the Dodgers, Bote has spent his entire professional career with the Chicago Cubs. Last season, he appeared in 37 MLB games and held a .304/.333/.391 slash line with four doubles. Fantasy managers should expect Bote to return to the majors later in the summer when the Dodgers need additional depth in their infield.
