2 years agoPittsburgh Pirates relief pitcher David Bednar picked up his seventh save of the season Friday against the Reds. Bednar is now tied for the league lead in saves with seven. He allowed no runs on no hits while striking out a batter during the ninth inning in the 4-3 Pirates victory. Friday was Pittsburgh's fifth straight win, and Bednar only needed to throw eight pitches to clinch the victory. He's only given up one run in 10 outings this season.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller
