1 month agoLas Vegas Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce said that the status of wide receiver Davante Adams (hamstring) and defensive end Maxx Crosby (ankle) for the Week 5 game against the division-rival Denver Broncos will depend on practice this week. Tight end Michael Mayer, who also missed the Week 4 win over the Cleveland Browns, is still dealing with a personal issue. Adams was considered week-to-week last week after he was injured in the loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 3, and he did not suit up on Sunday against Cleveland. We'll keep a close eye on the 31-year-old's practice status later this week. If he's back on the practice field and is cleared to play this weekend, he'll draw a tough matchup against Broncos stud cornerback Patrick Surtain. If Adams misses a second straight game, Jakobi Meyers and Tre Tucker will once again operate as Vegas' top two pass-catchers.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
