Davante Adams' Punishment Won't Come Until Legal Process Concludes
2 years agoLas Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams, who was charged with a city ordinance violation of assault after shoving a camera operator to the ground last Monday, is unlikely to be disciplined until after the legal process concludes, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. He notes that because Adams was criminally charged, his case is now considered a potential personal conduct policy violation and therefore requires a league investigation. If the NFL does decide to act on the matter, Adams could be fined, suspended, or both. From a legal stance, his court date has been set for Nov. 10. Ultimately, it looks like Adams will be on the field when the Raiders return from their bye in Week 7.
