5 years agoGreen Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that wide receiver Davante Adams' (toe) Week 8 status against the Chiefs could go right up until game time on Sunday night. Adams was stretching with the team on Wednesday for the first time since his injury in Week 4, but it won't guarantee that he's active this weekend. Making matters worse for fantasy owners is that the game is on Sunday night, so you'll need a backup plan in place if you leave him in your lineup. Marquez Valdes-Scantling will remain a boom-or-bust WR3 if Adams misses another game. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers would obviously see a boost if his No. 1 receiver comes back, but he'll be a strong QB1 regardless against KC.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
