2 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Daulton Jefferies (shoulder) is scheduled to undergo thoracic outlet surgery on Monday. He was first diagnosed with thoracic outlet syndrome a few weeks ago, but was seeking a second opinion. He recently received that second opinion from Dr. Gregory Pearl in Dallas and Pearl will be the doctor performing the surgery on Monday. Jefferies will be out for the remainder of the 2022 season and will likely miss the start of the 2023 season as well. Over eight starts this year, he went 1-7 with a 5.72 ERA and a 1.37 WHIP.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
